How to delete transaction history in Google Pay

Google Pay is a popular payment app that gives service to millions of people in India. This UPA-based payment app even allows you to send money to those who are not in your contact list. However, it has one other side related to privacy. Google Pay saves all of your transaction histories. Sometimes this history is useful when there is a doubt whether a transaction has taken place. But sometimes these can be difficult. 

The company gives you an option to delete your Google Pay transaction history without much work. This article is a guide with different methods to easily delete your Google Pay transaction history using the Google Pay app on mobile or laptop.

Let's first see how to delete Google Pay transaction history via the mobile app. One can easily delete Google Pay transaction history from the mobile application. Open the Google Pay app on your smartphone. Scroll down and click Settings. Then Privacy and Security

Then click on the Data and Personalization option and click on your Google Account link. After clicking on it, you will be taken to the Google account page. You can see the Google Pay transaction under the title of Payment Transaction and Activity.

Then click on the Payments and Subscriptions option. Scroll down then click on Payment Info, and tap on the Payment Transaction and Activity option.

Then comes your transaction history. If you click the cross button against the transaction history you want to delete, only that transaction history will be deleted. You can also delete one by one. If you want to delete them together without deleting them one by one, you can press the delete button shown above and delete those within the required time frame or all.
